Angela Vearing is an Organisational Psychologist and writer, living in Canberra, Australia.

She has spent the past 15 years working professionally in personnel selection, survey development, talent management, and organisational development roles.

During primary school, Angela was constantly writing stories and always wanted to be a famous movie director. She went to university to study communications and media production, but soon discovered the world of psychology.

While most of her writing has since been produced in the organisational psychology domain, her two young daughters have recently re-ignited her love of creative writing.

Angela uses her knowledge of human behaviour to write middle grade, chapter, and picture books that are suitable for more sensitive children, while still providing lots of magic, entertainment, and excitement!

She also writes sleep stories combined with music, to help children fall asleep.

Angela is a member of the Australian Society of Authors and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
